Q: Go count the number of unread books sitting on your shelf. How many?
Oh, COME ON. This is embarassing and CRUEL.
The books I currently OWN, but haven't read: 60. Including eBooks.
Huh. That's not so bad... I actually intend on reading most of those... some of them are books I've bought, but probably won't read. Like... classics I had to own for posterity's sake. And, well, because they were pretty.
And, uh... I'm not counting my Jane Austen collection (I've only read any finished P&P)... but it's sitting there. And I've counted one omnibus which has 3 books in it as one >___<
What about you guys? I suspect (hope) yours will be even worse. This makes me feel better about myself :D
I have an "own-must-read" shelf on Goodreads sitting at 76, but that is misleading, because if I have books in series, I only put the next (or first) book on the list, so it's likely higher than that.

Everyone is making me feel so bad! LOL. Ugh. I need to get to reading. (I do know one blogger with over 1000 TBR books on her shelves..guess that makes me feel a bit better...)

@Amanda: Ah... there's always someone worse off... and eBooks don't really even count, right? :P
Jealous, of me!? I kid you not when I say I'd rather be overloaded with books books books than struggling to find enough books to read haha! But good luck with your reading - hope you can get through them all by the end of 2012 :D

Yeah, 60 is not too bad at all. Some of these peps are crazy. As you mentioned on my blog, 500 owned unread books is just...I don't even know what to say. :)

That's really not so bad considering some of the numbers in the 100s I've seen on other blogs. I have about 50. But I didn't count eBooks, which I know has to be higher. :/

60 is not bad, not at all! I have 160 books, and that's not including my eBooks. I need to read my own books!!!!
