  2. Aww nice pick, Sarah! Too bad my mum wouldn't get that. She thinks Harry Potter is the DEVIL! No, not really. But she just... DOESN'T UNDERSTAND!!! *goes all melodramatic*

    :| Anywho, Happy Mother's Day! (gah, I keep writing "Harry" as "Happy" and "Happy" as "Harry")

  8. THIS POST. YES. TO THE POWER OF A HORCRUX. Because they sort of give you eternal life (if you're not stupid enough to hide them in sentimental places) and eternity is neverending, like infinity and... okay *shuts up*

    Seriously though, I LOVE this. I love how strong and inspiring the message of love is in Harry Potter and when it all comes down to it, it's a mother's life at the core of Harry's journey. The mother who gave up her life for his, the mother who took him in as a surrogate son, and the mother who lied and helped ended a war.

    Mothers are freaking amazing. And I don't doubt the woman who bore Sarah Saz Bah (hear her ROOOOAAAARRR) is more badass than all of those combined :) YOUR MUM ROCKS. Happy Mother's Day to her! <3

    1. AKDFADFKJDF! BRODIE. YES. EXAAAACTLY!

      I just typed to Rachel (below), that I love that recurring theme in Harry Potter! I mean, simple 'love' aside, the love of a mother. Narcissa's love for Malfoy. Mrs Weasley's love for her kids. Lily's drove her to make the ultimate sacrifice... and then Tom Riddle's... who didn't love him enough to hold onto life. JKR is an effing GENIUS.

      And my Mum? Well, if you think *I* am crazy, wait till you meet *MY* mum >:D

  9. :) The Harry Potter mothers are the best!!!!! They are all so brave and selfless! I always liked Narcissa for what she did in Deathly Hallows!
    Yay to mother's day!
    epic picture!

    1. YES! I LOVE Narcissa for that. Selfless or not, she'd do ANYTHING for her son, and I LOVE that repeats over and over throughout the series. Harry's Mum. Malfoy's Mum. Mrs Weasley would do anything for her boys... and then the contrast with poor Tom Riddle whose own mother didn't love him enough to hang onto life :(
      JKR = genius.

  10. I love all the mums in HP. They really are wonderful women. But I gotta agree with you that real mums are more badass. After all, they do everything without magic!

  12. If you rename this meme "Very Harry Blogspiration," I will love you forever!!! x) Every time I read one of your Harry-inspired blogspirations, I can't help but want to cuddle up and watch/read/collect every Harry Potter thing known to man! (And go to that cool Harry Potter themed thing at Disney too!) This is just too cute, Sarah!

    HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, SARAH-BARA! I think my mom is even more bad-ass than that woman with her stick too :') <3 (Although she totally bans the word "bad-ass" or, more specifically, the word "ass" in our house LOL!)

    1. I know, right? Mum raised my little brother and me from a pair of 4 and 6 year old brats as a single mum, and I think she's AMAZING. Not to say my Dad was absent, but seriously... mum was there EVERY day, dealing with all the rubbish, all the tantrums, all the bruises and cut knees and bad dreams and insanity, and she's still amazing today. Mums are BADASS.
