Blogspiration (28): Turn on the Light

Blogspiration is a weekly meme hosted by GrowingUp YA & Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers & writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation & just a little SOMETHING.

Which is really enough said, but I can't stress how true--or important this message is. There will always always always be someone or something--some drama--waiting to drag you down. But clouds do have silver linings.

This hasn't been an easy lesson for me to learn in life, and it's one I have to remind myself of constantly... but sometimes we need to look past the drama and look for the light.

Is there anything Harry Potter doesn't hold the answers to?

  2. Well I have a very big question regarding Fred and George that has yet to be answered to my satisfaction. However, Dumbledore is way SMRT.

    1. I worry about where that's going, Lauren... I think your question may be rather R rated... O___O

  5. No Saz, I don't think there is anything HP doesn't have an answer for! I love that these quotes are almost instantly recognizable.

    1. I KNOW, RIGHT? But seriously, I only just found this is a movie-only quote! It's not in the book :O :O :O

But I love love LOVE how much wisdom there is in the novels :)

  6. I KNEW IT. I KNEW, having only read the title of this Blogspiration post, that it would somehow relate to Harry Potter. Light was a trigger word, because as you know, light comes from wands. Actually, shamefully I didn't make the connection to that quote.... *shouldn't admit such things*

Anyway, onto your actual post *reads* Awww geez, have I mentioned lately that I LOVE you?

SO TRUE. I always belief that there is a positive in a negative, you just have to look hard enough to find it <3

And you're absolutely right. Someone should compile all the HP books, make it a bible and officially proclaim it as an accepted religion.

    1. IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE PSYCHICICAL!
Seriously though, imagine my shock when I discovered this isn't in the books, only in the movies! :O

And this: "I always belief that there is a positive in a negative, you just have to look hard enough to find it <3" *HUGGLES* I love you, Brodie! ♥

But... wait... you mean the Harry Potter books AREN'T A BIBLE? AND POTTERISM *ISN'T* A RELIGION? :O

  7. Love this quote and I completely agree. It's always best to remember that things get better and there IS good in the world, despite all the band and the tragedies that affect us in life.

  8. Sarah! I went to link myself up, and I was already there! Did you do this? If not, magic! Or gremlins. One or the other.
Anyway, more importantly I love and adore and generally am quite fond of this quote and I think that this has been possibly the biggest lesson of the last few years, and probably the biggest lesson that I'll be learning and relearning for the rest of my life. Because man, if my parents had never taught me to cook I could always eat out, and I'd never have any money for books but I wouldn't DIE, and I can outsource cleaning and what have you but I can't outsource my attitude. I'm not sure if this analogy is making sense anymore. Basically what I am trying to say is YES. JUST YES.
Also - "look for the light" = Perfect.

    1. Hehe, I added the link when I saw your post :D
But if you'd like to believe in magic and gremlins, it's fine... because I like any excuse to do so, too :D

AND OH MY GOODNESS. ALEX. SERIOUSLY, YOUR ANALOGY WAS PERFECT. Actually, I'm bookmarking it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE. AND I LOVE YOU.
