Blogspiration (37): A Man Who Reads

Blogspiration is a weekly meme hosted by GrowingUp YA & Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers & writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation & just a little SOMETHING.

Well, that about is it all.
*sigh*
And I still think he's the perfect Mr Darcy.

    1. It's just SO perfect, right? And I LOVE that. The connection to other readers, that we truly DO feel the same?

      Thanks so much, Erin! ♥

    1. Oh seriously, I have SUCH a soft spot for him. Whether he's Mr Darcy or Mark Darcy.

And MWAHAHAHA! You know, my husband actually really likes the BBC period dramas :D

  5. I LOVE this. Not only that, it's so true and as a reader, I can totally relate to it. Seriously, it's like he's gone through my brain (freaky...) and pulled this (it's getting freakier by the minute. Sounds zombie-ish) glob of feelings and thoughts about what it's like for me (along with other readers) when a really good novel gets under my skin and affects me to the point that I feel book hungover and like I'm elsewhere, still running through the pages.

    1. Seriously, undead brain-eating monster or not, it's just SO perfect, huh? LOVE how that feeling is universal and common to all of us who love to read ^__^

  6. I have not heard this quote before and as I already love Colin Firth, this just made me love him even more! :D

A great quote that is so interesting! Wish I could say it was true to me but not really :/ But I usually just walk around in my own little bubble anyway! haha.

    Great blogspiration Sarah!

    1. I hadn't heard it before, either, but I LOVE COlin.

But seriously, you don't get that? I mean, it's when the book is incomparably amazing. Like, Harry Potter amazing. And you're walking around seeing little bits of the world that could be hidden wizarding shops, or the old man on the street who just might have appeared out of nowhere, or the way your cat is looking at you with a little *too* much intelligence in those wicked yellow eyes. Not all books, but the really, truly, magical ones ♥

Ha! Sorry, I kid. I so get that, they're both different, and I ADORED Donald Sutherland as Mr Bennett in the movie. SO romantic ♥

  13. Awww. Sar-ah! Gorgeous quote. I think little kids are good at doing this too, and I love it - love watching them get completely fully absorbed in a story, or their imaginary games. My little brother and I used to have the most amazing fun playing knights and castles and things like that when we were small. That's one of the things I'm looking forward to if I ever have kids, is watching their imaginations unfold. :-)

      KAY?

I LVOE the BBC version. It's a lot more... polite and refined and proper, but I LOVE the romance between Darcy and Lizzie ♥

Seriuosly, though. The movie is super sweet, and tbh, I hadn't see the full series until a couple of years ago ;D
